Afternoon
Popeye style character
Between 1933 and 1938 Popeye was animated by Fleischer Studios,
the characters had very bendy stretchy limbs, this is the style I'm focusing on.
Popeye was a sailor so a seafaring character is a good idea, especially as Bluto one of the antagonists was also a sailor.
A sailor or a rival to Olive Oyl.

After thinking I decided a more side character.
A girl roughly in her teens, possibly his daughter but maybe a girl of the town he's from.
A damsel in distress, a character interchangeable with Olive, seeing as they tell other stories with the same characters.

I put a little too much thought into the morning work I feel a little burnt out by this time, so my work is not its best.
I have been struggling to get the style, it's not one I draw usually.

Take a character that exists and draw it in your own style.
Alice in wonderland white rabbit

Turns out I misheard the task, It was to draw things in the style of our project.
So I did both started with my own then altered it to be a tin toy, had a lot more fun with my own style.
