Minor • End of Week 1 Progress

Week 3 over and some interesting research and starting points of modelling.
I have the head almost finished.

I visited an aquarium on Wednesday, took some life drawings of an octopus.

model wise, I roughed out a first body, but it didn't feel right so I started again and made him like a mask, I then sculpted this a little to make the face puffier and more like my sketches, I also added temporary nurbs sphere eyes.

to continue the model i need to make the inside of the mouth and the 'ears' and then the head is done.
then is to add the body and tentacles then the model should be finished.

Books progress is going nicely and some temporary pages have been added.
Model progress will be uploaded to sketchfab for easy display.
