A background I was drawing as I was between work today and its progress gif






The original sketch had a character in it which I had removed to focus more on the idea of the landscape.

I used red to work out rough shadow and then built up with blues, I then dulled the color and added some more refined colors to it.

The idea is that this is an entrance to a home, one that was built in a cave.
The lights in the mouth of the mountain are supposed to stand out, as well as the little floating ball which is a soul.
